your idea of a car is why the mantra has to be given. Because it makes you think of anything but yourself. Because when you say car, your idea of a car is what you construct in your mind. It’s a thing, It’s not a pure thought, it’s being directed + shaped into the form of a car. Consciousness on the level of your brain / heart / stomach / hooha.
