An unfinished thought

I think a lot about not what art is, (it’s everything by the way) but what art means, why art exists. I believe that art developed as a technology (a tool) by nature to serve as a catalyst for the evolution of consciousness in order to understand itself more completely. With human beings, nature finally had a form complex enough to contemplate it’s own existence + explore ways to express + give form to those thoughts. Basically what I do is in service of that idea.

That said, I have no idea what I’m actually doing (any artist who says they do is a lying asshat + shouldn’t be trusted) but, I think this path I’m being led on has allowed me to explore experience itself as the medium by using time as the framework for containing + expressing art in as close to real time as I can. By documenting those experiences + using the connectivity brought about by the internet + social media, sharing them through share that as an additional certificate or receipt for that experience.

All that to say, nature wants me to share my experience + perspective as an artist, as art, as purely + directly as I can without making a bunch of “things” that only serve to take up space + exhaust limited resources which only confuses everyone else who can’t afford to buy / stand in front / take valuable time to think about it.

in recent years with the evolution of networked communication (www), that there’s a way to eliminate the redundancies of mediated experience.
