I’ve started a band that isn’t one maybe.

I recently voted on the fate of my really good friend’s life. It was just what to do about his beard but it was the first time I’d done It since we met a year ago. It felt like I knew him better or trusted him more because I now own shares in him/his life choices + my vote actually counts. Also because I’m convinced what he’s doing is great art. Like the art that ends up in museums great art. Besides that, it’s a really good idea to imagine a future where we can invest in people the way we currently invest in companies + @kmikeym had the idea + then really did it. I love this man.⠀

Anyway, we are starting a band. It’s @ipdivision. Less like a song band + more like an idea band which might also do something we call “songs”? But it’s also an art collective but also a company + an agency sort of.#

I actually don’t know what this is which is why I think it’ll be a really good band. Like a band for the future when we’re all just a singular data cloud that doesn’t need to hear things but can listen more deeply in other ways we can’t with our meat bodies.

Honestly, we may never do anything at all. Like I said, this is a great band, and we are always looking for new members. There’s only one criteria to join.
